Anyone who writes and records songs, of any quality level, has been asked where do songs come from?
This is a note I scribbled down yesterday after hearing about Baldor Motors. I looked up Baldor Motors and reviewed the kinds of motors they make. One type of motor is called a "severe duty motor," which I translated to: "don't worry ma, it's a severe duty motor." I'm not saying this is exactly where songs come from, but this type of thing does occur.
Another type of motor Baldor makes is the definite purpose motor.
Language like this captures me--it's funny, it relates to real things.
