I checked out the American Writer's Museum yesterday--it was great. Not stuffy at all, with a lot of interactive displays and props to lyricists and screenwriters as well as literary writers and journalists.
I also checked out the Gene Siskel Film Center. I was expecting something with a museum vibe but it is a carefully curated popcorn-and-candy arthouse movie theater. A long weekend here is on my bucket list.
