NEW MUSIC COMMUTE WEEK

Lately I have been into podcasts (Creative Pep Talk &Tim Ferris especially) but this week is new music week on my commute, going back to albums I’ve bookmarked on Spotify.  

I really like this Wim Mertens record of pop-inflected lieder for voice and piano, and his unabashed, expressive tenor.  The translation of flemish Belgian song titles is great, like “in the knapsack.”
