I got this GPO Brooklyn boombox for my birthday last week. I dug into the tape box last night and pulled out this oldie from my days digging through the discount bins at Musicland at Metro North Mall. Garage/basement puttering and spring cleaning has never been so good.
"Sorrow" was always my favorite tune on this covers collection. Also, this might be the most he blows saxophone on any of his records. Outrageously glammy production makes this one a blast to revisit. When I was 14 I didn't know these were all covers.
