THE DOG LIKES LATTE FOAM AND LONG WALKS IN THE SUN





Warmer weather this week allowed for actual sitting-in-the-grass at Gillham Park, at the end of a long walk. We ambulated through upper Hyde Park, around Janssen Place, and down to 40th getting as far east as Harrison. Always knocked out by the old houses when we ramble in Midtown KC.



I also hit Endicott Barber Shop for an ear-lowering with Joe, had a grinder at Mario's, and went to Mills Record Company in search of Big Star's Third and some more solo Alex Chilton--after watching the Big Star documentary. When the barber shop and the grinder shop are adjacent, and the record store is a block away, at least one Saturday a month has an anchor event on the calendar.  And I forgot to mention, stopped for pie at Pryde's.
