Thanks Bryan Anderson for the photo from last night at The Brick. It was one of those special nights that you don't necessarily expect, just kind of bloomed. Boxknife had me grinning ear-to-ear with their funky punky synthy electro-pop. The Harrisonics delivered their brand of smart and nerdy-in-a-good way Crenshaw-via-DB's power pop, including a cover of my favorite Wire song. Big open-tent kind of bill with nice people, my favorite kind.
Also Pixie and Pablo's groomer Maddy was there--she's a national treasure.
