ALL PURPOSE BULLETIN

I am looking forward to our first show since November, at Lemonade Park this week.  We go on at 7:00 with a punchy set of stuff from We Live In A World That Is Out Of This World, Serve Without Delay, and whatever is next.   Two bands on Black S
ite Records, Knife Crime and Emmaline Twist, will follow.  Knife Crime is celebrating their vinyl LP release.

Felt a warm wind blowing in tonight after a day in the 80's and hope this holds up for Friday.

We've had an up and down few weeks with Pixie, our ambiguously old rescue Maltese. (She rescued us).  Her liver enzyme counts are up, but her pep is good.  At one point due to some mysterious pains and evidence of fluid in her lungs, we we were looking at saying goodbye.  But further review of the X Ray showed she didn't have much in the way of fluid.  The pain seems to have been old-dog back pain.

So we're enjoying her good energy every day.  She added an episode to Things That Intrepid Kick-Ass  Blind Dogs Do--scooting under the cow pasture fence along my brother's acreage, navigating on arthritic legs halfway down to the cow pond in wide open terrain before her cousin dog Casey warned us.

Pixie basically has more balls than all of the dude sports teams in KC combined plus Chuck Norris, plus every living Green Beret, plus AOC plus L7 and Heart plus Mr T.  She is a joy.  When we adopted her she was the house dog at a vet's office, having been left there.  Maybe because she was blind, and too vocal and too needy.  But not for us.
