I was on the sick bed yesterday after picking up a cold and checked out Museum Hours on Kanopy. Very thoughtful, spacious, conversational and good-hearted without being feel-good. Also intellectual, but grounded in heart, and art. I loved it, but I know for many, it would be like watching paint dry.
About halfway through I thought, "this is kind of a Patti Smith kinda film", and as it turned out, she was a co-producer.
